Just released book featured in the prestigious Society of Human Resource Publication: HR Magazine
Natalie Ivey, President and CEO of Results Performance Consulting just published her book How to Conduct Internal Investigations: A Practical Guide for Human Resource Professionals”, in late July. Instantly it was prevalent in the Human Resource (HR) community. She debuted her book at the August HR Florida State Conference, attended by over 1500+ HR professionals and vendors. Ms. Ivey’s presentation of the same topic at the conference, had a standing room only audience numbering over 200 people.
Simultaneously, Ivey’s work was featured in the September edition of the respected HR Magazine. HR Magazine is the flagship publication for the Society for Human Resource Management, distributed to more than 275,000 members in over 160 countries. Ivey was honored that within weeks of publication, her How to Conduct Internal Investigations book was reviewed by Leigh Rivenbark, and featured in this highly regarded publication.
Rivenbark, a freelance writer and editor in Vienna, VA said in her review, how the book lays out in four parts how to run an investigation. By knowing what causes investigations, understanding the laws, walking through the investigative process and properly documenting the findings, Rivenbark advises, “that’s where this guidebook aims to help. Natalie Ivey lays out the steps for running (and, if possible, preventing) internal investigations.” Rivenbark continues to add “Ivey provides quizzes at the end of each section so readers can test themselves on the material. She also provides templates for a complaint form, an investigative report and evidence logs.”
Ivey is thrilled that her book is getting such attention so quickly after being published, and looks forward to sharing her knowledge with small and medium sized companies who can use her tips so to minimize liability when faced with an internal investigation.
