ABOUT RPC

Natalie Ivey, President

Who We Are:

Results Performance Consulting, Inc. (RPC) is a consulting firm that helps individuals and organizations improve performance through HR management consulting, shorter-duration professional development training programs, and career management consulting.   In 2002, the business was founded by the President, Natalie Ivey, a former Director of OPEN The Small Business Network from American Express.  During Natalie’s years in working with American Express and talking with entrepreneurs, she realized that small business is truly the backbone of the American economy.   After her years at Amex and nearly two decades with Fortune 500 organizations in leadership, HR, and Organization Development, Natalie took her knowledge and expertise from the corporate environment and applied it to start her own small business.   Natalie realized that smaller employers needed her help in understanding the complex labor and employment laws, how to tackle tough employee relations issues, improve supervisor’s skills, reduce labor costs, reduce negativity and “drama” in the workplace, and a myriad of other HR related issues.   Also, Natalie realized that smaller employers desperately needed “real world”, management and employee training programs.  And, training programs that made sense, both in time and cost, and that actually generate a return-on-investment for the business.

In 2005, RPC developed a group of contract training consultants who work on projects according to their backgrounds and areas of expertise. In 2006, Ken Ivey became a partner and Chief Operating Officer, and in early 2008, Brian Dickerson became the Senior Organization Development Consultant, assisting Natalie and Ken in the development of the business.  Today, RPC has grown into a firm that provides HR assistance and  classroom training programs for small employers, provides online e-learning via Webinars and Audio Conferences, provides continuing education programs for the HR profession, and career management consulting and professional development training for individuals.  Just as Natalie saw back in 2002 that smaller employers needed practical and affordable HR assistance, she realized that in early 2008 as the recession hit full force, individuals, particularly older workers, needed help with how to find a job and transition careers after lay-offs.  And, smaller employers needed to know how to handle reductions-in-force and offer career transition assistance to employees affected by lay-offs.

What We Do
For Organizations:

  • Leadership and Professional Development Training Programs
  • HR Assist™, flat-fee HR Consulting for Smaller Employers
  • HR Department Strategic Planning
  • HR & Employment Law Training Programs
  • Outplacement/Career Transition Assistance for Smaller Employers

For organizations, we consult with small to medium-size employers to improve management and employee work performance, lower labor costs, and improve compliance with labor & employment laws.  We provide a unique, flat-fee human resource consulting service called HR Assist. This service enables smaller employers to just pick up the phone or email us whenever they have problem.  It’s like having an “on call” HR guru to call whenever a problem arises to get sound, practical advice on what to do and how to handle an employee situation.  Our HR consultants are all SPHR certified, which means they’ve passed a rigorous board exam to certify them as subject-matter experts in HR.  The Senior designation indicates they have had at least seven years of exempt level experience in HR and worked at more senior management levels.  For more information about HR Assist, please go to the HR Consulting page.

We also provide high quality, cost-effective professional development training programs, and we specialize in providing leadership training for management teams. Our programs are delivered in a modular format (shorter duration courses) via classroom workshops or via continuing education Webinars and Audio Conferences. We offer numerous learning methods to offer flexibility in attending a training course and to ease in scheduling.  Also, each one of our leadership training courses is designed to strengthen the “people” skills of supervisors and managers. We know all too well the saying:

People don’t leave companies–they leave their managers.

For that reason, all RPC courses are designed to provide critical, interpersonal “people skills” to improve managers’ ability to effectively lead today’s highly diverse workforce.  These skills directly translate into improved retention of talent and improved business performance.  In other words, better trained leaders who know how to communicate effectively and manage performance, enable employers to hold onto their greatest assets—people.

We also provide assistance with strategic planning, offer best practices, resources, tools, and cost-effective solutions to everyday human resource challenges. We got into business because we’re passionate about helping employers focus on business, retain good people, and drive improvements in profitability, customer service, quality, and productivity. We’re also passionate about helping leaders and HR professionals continually develop their skills–and careers–through high quality continuing education programs.

Overall, we’re subject matter experts in how to align people and processes with goals to improve performance, and we have numerous client testimonials that speak to our capabilities.  For specific feedback from our clients, please refer to our Testimonials page.

What We Do
For Individuals:

For individuals, we help get careers back on track–especially after layoffs.  Through our executive coaching partners, LeBoeffe & Associates and Evoking Genius, we provide coaching for executives who have now found themselves displaced and in need of a new direction.   Through our partners, we help individuals identify their true desires, talents, skills, and abilities and put a plan in place to get “from here” to “there.”   Our executive coaches are all certified through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and are true professionals in helping individuals navigate career and life transitions.  Additionally, at RPC we’re providers of leadership, HR, and professional development training programs and these programs can be delivered on a 1:1 basis.  For individuals who may need improvement in conflict resolution, we can provide 1:1 training in how to improve in this critical skill area.

Our comprehensive approach to career management consulting is a unique one. We first begin by assessing whether or not executive coaching is an appropriate first step.  For individuals who may make comments such as, “I just don’t want to go back to banking…”, we highly recommend beginning an engagement with an executive coach.  The coach will be able to help in assessing the current situation, identify realistic time-frames for a life transition, and to help in setting the “life compass” to the right heading.  From there, our consultants with RPC can pick up the process to help align an individual’s specific skills and competencies with various career paths in order to help narrow a job search.   For individuals who simply need a new resume or assistance with a job search, the executive coaching isn’t necessary.   In those instances, we simply begin though working through our referral partners, who are professional resume writers, who can assist at helping individuals more effectively market themselves in the current job market.  For information, please go to the HR Consulting page and click on the drop down for Career Consulting, or call us at (561) 208-6480.

Why Hire Us?

1. Our Competence and Experience.

For starters, in providing training and HR consulting, we’re able to quickly assess the root causes of people and performance problems and develop solutions.  Some consulting firms take forever to diagnose situations, collecting a ton of data, and get into “analysis paralysis” before prescribing actual solutions.   To us, if a problem is as obvious as a ham sandwich–why analyze it to death? We have, combined, over 100+ years of leadership experience among all training and HR consultants who work with us.  We bring the expertise of leadership, from the trenches, and you’ll get no PhD’-ish psychobabble from us.  No offense to academia, but our leaders speak in real world language–not management theory. Each one of our consultants brings their real world experience to client engagements and, when in the classroom teaching others, translate their experiences to make the training real world and not theoretical.  Our RPC programs are concise, practical, experiential and drive changes in leadership behavior–guaranteed. For more information about our leadership, HR, and employment law training programs, please go to Training Programs.

2. We’re Cost Effective.

By doing a great job of quickly identifying root causes to people and performance issues, we’re able to target leadership or employee training toward specific skill gaps–not put in an entire training program with a bunch of modules that are a waste of time.  With our competition, they aren’t nearly as nimble as we are and frequently charge a great deal for customization of training programs.  We don’t. We’ve designed our programs in a modular format, allowing you to choose a la carte from our menu of courses.  With our help, we customize the right curriculum for you that will drive the desired improvements in leadership behavior and business performance–at an affordable price.   Additionally, our HR Consulting service, HR Assist, provides employers with on-demand, senior-level HR expertise at a flat-fee.  For a fraction of the labor cost in hiring even just one part-time HR Manager, employers save tens of thousands of dollars annually in labor costs–and in legal fees.

3. We’re easy to get along with to schedule and deliver our services.

We deliver our training courses in a modular format–which means shorter duration courses–and we have a variety of training methods such as blended learning and virtual classroom or Webinar programs.   We know most leaders and HR professionals find it challenging to get out of the office or operation to attend a full day or multiple-day program.  Therefore, we design our programs to ease scheduling and increase retention of the material.

In providing HR consulting services, such as reviewing a company handbook or assisting with a sticky employee issue, we’re available when clients needs us.  Have a harassment issue come up during evening hours and not sure what to do?  No problem. We’re only a phone call away.  We also travel and work on-site at client locations for more in-depth projects.  This enables us to get to know your people, your culture, and assess situations with more of a hands-on approach.

Since the founding of our company in 2002, our mission has been the same:

“To assist people and organizations achieve measurable results through targeted, results-focused training and performance solutions.”
